A Shared Vision, Not a Personal Claim

The vision behind Tree of Life does not belong to us.

Across the world, many communities, initiatives, and individuals are responding to the same call — to restore balance between people, land, and future generations. In this sense, Tree of Life is not a unique idea, but part of a broader human movement already unfolding.

Our role is not to claim ownership of the vision, but to take responsibility for its manifestation in a specific time, place, and form.

We see ourselves as listeners, stewards, and builders — translating something larger than us into practical structures, agreements, and daily practices. The work is less about invention, and more about alignment: sensing what is ready to emerge, and creating the conditions for it to take shape.

The villages we are building are not meant to replace or compete with other initiatives. They exist in dialogue with them. We learn from what already exists, and contribute our own layer to a collective effort that is far greater than any single project.

If there is something “cosmic” in this work, it is not abstract or distant.
It is simply the feeling that the time is right — and that the responsibility to act has arrived.

Our Story

Our connection formed around an educational space and simple friendship created and held with care. Over several years, shared rhythms — weekly meetings, community gatherings, time in nature, and ongoing dialogue — allowed trust to deepen naturally.

In the spring of 2025, a shared journey brought clarity: we were ready to move from conversation to creation. Since then, we meet consistently, take on complementary responsibilities, and work together to translate vision into grounded, practical steps.

Tree of Life did not emerge from a single moment or idea, but from a lived process — one shaped by listening, refinement, and collective responsibility, and one that continues to evolve.

In Collaboration with United Hearts

We work alongside United Hearts (Shivtiya) — a growing network of communities around the world, united by a shared belief: that a different way of living is not only possible, but already emerging.

United Hearts connects independent villages and initiatives into a living network — each with its own character and rhythm, yet all rooted in the same principles: mutual responsibility, connection to land, and the understanding that strengthening another strengthens ourselves.

The vision is simple: communities that provide for their own needs — food, energy, education, health, economy — while remaining open, connected, and welcoming to those who seek a life of meaning and belonging.

People and Culture

We work from a principle of ecosystem over ego-system.

Each member of the founding team brings different skills, perspectives, and life experience. Rather than emphasizing individual achievements, we focus on how those differences interweave to support the whole.

Our culture is guided by:

  • Shared responsibility rather than hierarchy

  • Unity without uniformity

  • Long-term stewardship over short-term results

  • Inner alignment alongside external action

For us, tribe-building is both a structural and a human practice. The work of creating villages begins with cultivating trust, clarity, and cooperation within the group itself.

How We Work

Tree of Life is currently in an early and formative phase. We approach this stage with honesty, care, and patience.

We are not presenting a finished solution.
We are building foundations — thoughtfully, gradually, and in dialogue with land, people, and context.

Our intention is to create environments where individuals, families, and initiatives can grow without pressure to perform, compete, or conform — places where contribution is valued over visibility, and responsibility over recognition.

An Open Circle

Tree of Life is an expanding circle.

While this page introduces the founding team — Ortal, Idan, Ehudi, and Omi — the work itself is larger than any individual. We welcome others who feel aligned with this way of building: quietly, responsibly, and in
