Sacred Family Retreat In

South Japan

Starting 4.4.26

Min Stay 21 day

A profound, meaningful and heart-opening Eco retreat experience for up to 10 families from around the world

A journey into tribal living, connection, healing and a sense of belonging for all ages

A space where every child and every parent has time for themselves, and an environment that allows for harmonious, organic development.

Located on Kyushu, Japan’s southern island known for its volcanoes, forests, hot springs, and strong connection to traditional rural life,
the retreat takes place in Miyazaki — a warm coastal region of open landscapes, green mountains, quiet beaches, and a naturally slower pace

This is Where our tribe will come together soon

The retreat takes place in a former Japanese school building thoughtfully transformed into a countryside guesthouse, surrounded by nature and quiet.

Each family has its own private, comfortable room.
Rooms are located near one another, with not too solid walls yet a calm atmosphere typical of Japanese spaces. Kitchen is shared.

The level of accommodation is simple yet pleasant. very clean, organized, and held in a minimalist Japanese aesthetic.

Most families quickly discover
that this simplicity is what allows softness, belonging,
and a true feeling of home.

The space is designed for community life, nature connection, and simplicity rather than private comfort or hotel-style accommodation

Most of daily life happens outside the rooms in shared spaces — in nature, in circles, in movement, and togetherness.

Sleeping Spaces

The rooms are simple sleeping spaces, meant mainly for rest and quiet family moments.

This supports a way of living where families spend most of their time outside and in community, rather than inside private rooms.

Each room is private per family & accommodates up to six family members.

For early registrants, or for families who wish to join the program but prefer a higher level of privacy, two private houses within walking distance are available for separate booking.

Ecological Living

For families familiar with eco-living or communal spaces, this often feels natural .
For others, it may feel like a stretch — and we want to be transparent about that.

Bathrooms and showers are shared

The showers may be communal in structure
but in practice privacy is very much respected.

They are used in a way that allows each family its own dedicated time and privacy to enjoy them

Is This a Good Fit for Your Family?

This retreat may not be suitable if you are looking for:

  • High levels of privacy & comfort

  • Fully equipped private houses

It is a beautiful fit for families who:

  • Feel comfortable with simplicity Value community and shared life

  • Are open to explore a diffrent way of living

Why We Choose This Setting

We chose this place because it supports connection, presence, safety for children, and a strong communal atmosphere.

While the physical comfort is simple, the emotional and relational richness of the space is what makes this experience meaningful.

Japan is an extraordinary country but it is no secret that it can also be expensive...

We were looking for a place that could host traveling families seeking meaningful connection and depth, without turning the experience into a financial burden..

Our Invitation

We invite families to read this carefully, and feel into whether this environment truly supports them at this time.

For the families it fits — it often becomes a deeply rewarding and memorable experience.

We believe that after a few days of natural adjustment to the facilities, our focus will gently shift — from the structure to the people, from the setting to the shared experience — allowing us to truly immerse in meaningful inner and communal work
